Olivia Masi

Olivia Masi is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics at Aalto University and a Research Fellow at the AXA Gender Lab at Bocconi University. She earned her PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (EUI) in 2024, with research focused on gender discrimination, intimate partner violence, and gender gaps in education and labor markets.
Before her PhD, she completed a Master’s in Analysis and Policy in Economics at the Paris School of Economics, a Master’s in Economics and Finance at the Barcelona School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University. She also gained experience as a visiting researcher at the LSE and through an internship at the OECD.
