German Gauthier

Germain Gauthier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) in 2023. During his Ph.D., he made two extensive visits to the Center for Law, Economics, and Data Science at ETH Zürich. His research is at the intersection of public economics, political economy, and applied econometrics. He has notably studied the determinants and consequences of various social movements, such as the #MeToo movement
