The Cost of School Holidays: Mothers pay the Price

The second session of the "Mend the gap in Europe and Central Asia: Evidence for policy and operation" Webinar Series, organized in collaboration with the World Bank ECA Gender Innovation Lab, will feature Andrea Pop-Catalisan (Ph.D. student, Paris School of Economics). 

This session will present evidence from France on how summer school holidays and limited time autonomy can shape gender inequality in parental health, and discuss how the school calendar contributes to the disproportionate caregiving burden on working mothers.
