Webinar series
MEND THE GAP IN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA: EVIDENCE FOR POLICY AND OPERATION
This session presents evidence from a survey experiment with white-collar professionals in Turkey, examining whether informational videos on domestic labour and mental load can shift perceptions of household burdens and attitudes toward the sharing of responsibilities.
This session presents causal evidence from a policy reform that shifted public lunchtime childcare from an opt-in to an opt-out default. It will conclude with a discussion with World Bank Education and Social Policy specialists on how these findings can inform policy design and be translated into concrete operational action.
The first session of the Webinar Series "MEND THE GAP IN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA: EVIDENCE FOR POLICY AND OPERATION", organized in collaboration with the World Bank Europe and Central Asia Gender Innovation Lab, will feature Angelina Nazarova (University of Essex).
