Niklas Reinecke

Niklas Maximilian Reinecke holds an M.Sc. in Politics and Policy Analysis from Bocconi University and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Mannheim. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Heidelberg University. He has worked as a Contract Researcher at the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality and held research assistant positions at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

 

His research interests include electoral behaviour, political representation, spatial inequality, and quantitative methods. His master’s thesis examined the “child penalty” in German politics using GLES candidate-study data. He is a co-author of the 2023 article “Student-led replication studies in comparative politics: New findings by fresh eyes?” in Zeitschrift für Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft.
