Niccolò Baldesi is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality. Previously, he has worked for the Directorate General for Structural Reform Support at the European Commission and for the Institute for European Policymaking at Bocconi University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bologna (2022), and a Master’s degree in Politics and Policy Analysis from Bocconi University (2024). His interests lie in political economy and gender economics.

Silvia Griselda is the Research Manager for the Human Capital Unit at E61 Institute (Australia). She obtained a PhD in economics at University of Melbourne in 2022, and spent two years at Bocconi University as Post-Doctoral fellow at the AXA Lab for Gender Equality. Her research focuses on labour economics, education and gender and has been published in academic journals (such as the Journal of Human Resources and the Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization) and featured in many media outlets (The Conversation, VoxEd, and ABC news).
