Piera Bello is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Bergamo. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI).  Before joining the University of Bergamo, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University College London and at the University of Zurich. Her research has focused on gender and education economics, and household finance.

With a background in Economics, Politics and Communications, Roberto works now at the European Central Bank, focusing on Internal Communications and Diversity and Inclusion topics. Prior to the ECB, Roberto has worked in consulting on social issues and as a Research Assistant at the Gender Lab.
