Savio Giulia
Giulia Savio is an assistant professor at Università di Torino. She has been a post-doc at Bocconi University, at the AXA Gender Lab. Previously, she completed her PhD in Economics at Università della Svizzera Italiana. Her interests are in the fields of gender economics, political economy, and public economics.

Caló Ximena
Ximena Caló is a PhD Student in the Department of Social and Political Sciences and the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality at Bocconi University. Her research investigates when women's presence in politics translates into substantive change, and how institutional filters and external shocks either expand or constrain women's political empowerment, using quantitative methods and causal inference. Prior to her PhD, she was a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality. She holds an MSc(Res) in European Studies from the London School of Economics (2020) and a BA in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Boston University (2018).
